Chief Financial Officer
Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette
An exciting and unique opportunity exists to lead Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamettes Finance Department as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is responsible for maintaining the financial health and assessing the future needs of the agency, anticipating changes in the operating environment, and implementing changes that will assure the future success of the mission. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the CFO will participate in strategic planning and decision making and oversee fiscal systems, controls, and agency reporting.

The successful candidate must support the mission of Planned Parenthood and be searching for an opportunity to work in a dedicated team environment where staff and management alike share common values including respect for one another. Key responsibilities for this position are: Responsible for providing financial leadership and management of all finance and accounting functions in the agency including medical billing. Manages the development of the agencys annual budget in cooperation with the Executive Staff and Board of Directors. Establish and continually improve agency financial policies, procedures and controls. Drive efforts for profitability, efficiency and accuracy. Manages all personnel in the Finance and Accounting functions within the agency. Provides timely financial reporting and monthly budget variance reports to the management team. Develops and manages the plan for Capital Expenditures and ensures all needs are prioritized appropriately. Requirements for this position are: BA in Accounting or related field with at least 10 years experience in finance with 5 years at the CFO level. Previous experience working in the Healthcare industry highly preferred. MBA preferred. Must have demonstrated strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. Previous working experience in both for-profit and non-profit corporations desired ideally in a healthcare setting. Ability to develop financial strategies, take initiative and drive key business issues to completion. Knowledgeable of laws, compliance and accounting practices and issues and ability to translate requirements to managers and employees. Strong team player and ability to multi-task. This position is 37.5 hours/week, and salary is dependent on skills and experience. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability and 403(b), paid time off that starts at 28 days per year and 8 paid holidays.
