Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette is in search of an experienced Medical Billing Manager. Our business is providing, promoting, and protecting access to reproductive and sexual health care for the women, men, and teens that need it the most—regardless of their background. The Medical Billing Manager is responsible for efficiently and effectively directing the overall functions of the Medical Billing department to ensure maximization of cash flow while maintaining and improving relationships with PPCW staff, patients and payers. The candidate must support the mission of Planned Parenthood and be searching for an opportunity to work in a dedicated team environment where staff and management alike share common values including respect for one another.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Manage patient insurance, coding, billing, collections and data processing to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collection.
• Supervises the medical billers including training and performance management.
• Responsible for the review of patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner.
• Develops and implements new procedures to improve the quality and quantity of work processed.
• Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly billing reports.

Requirements for this position are:

• BS/BA degree, CPC certified
• 5-7 years managing a complex billing department
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
•A strong commitment to the mission and goals of PPCW.

This position is 37.5 hours/week, and starting base salary is DOE. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability and 403(b), paid time off that starts at 23 days per year and 8 paid holidays.
